Tintabulations performing the beautiful and dramatic piece “Compassion” by Jason Krug.
A montage of scenes from the first day of our concert tour. This part of the adventure took us from Reno, Nevada to Bishop, California. Things we learned along the way include:
1) There is lots of road construction on highway 395
2) Fitting 30 feet of tables on a small stage is no easy feat
3) Our director has an awesome gallop!
The background music is “Ezekiel Saw the Wheel”, arranged by Hart Morris and performed by Tintabulations in Bishop, CA on June 24th, 2012.
About this recording
“Oh, you ring Handbells?! Can you play ‘Carol of the Bells’” is an all too familiar comment our group hears, and we bet that other bell ensembles hear the same thing all the time. When it came time to gather the music for this recording, we decided that Christmas music is overplayed in the bell world. From Disney to baroque to jazz, we picked our favorite songs to ring after the decorations have all been taken down. Here is a bell recording for the other 364 days of the year.
